About Chris Loffert...

Our founder has a real heart for easing the stress faced by families confronted with a time of medical crisis. Christopher's Guests was founded out of a very real, very
personal family medical crisis.  

Christopher's niece, Melissa, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma (a rare form of bone marrow cancer) at the age of four. She was treated at the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, but also had to travel to Philadelphia for a bone marrow transplant. Chris and his family took turns staying with her day and night. Melissa lost her fight with cancer four years later.  

From this experience, Chris realized that no support system existed for families like his, when a medical emergency brought them to a different city. In efforts to help families in similar situations navigate Pittsburgh, Christopher's Guests was founded.

Christopher works hard with the families he helps to make sure they are getting what they need in Pittsburgh so that they can focus on the healing process, and not the daunting everyday tasks that consume a person when they are dealing with a family emergency.

We are happy to announce that all of the funds collected from donations and fundraisers go directly to supporting the families. All overhead costs are paid by Christopher himself.    

Christopher's Guests is a 501(c)3 non-profit.
